What is ASPIRE?
The ASPIRE Success Club began as a professional women's book club, Booked For Lunch, where we gathered monthly to discuss a book (4 books each year) and then implement it into our personal and professional lives. What began as a simple book discussion program has blossomed into what you see here!
We've continued with our powerful book discussions but have added many more resources, events, and opportunities for you to grow - both personally and professionally - as you'll see outlined below.
And we're REALLY excited about our geographic expansion! Since starting Booked For Lunch, we've had people around the globe asking how they could become involved. We're THRILLED to now offer our ASPIRE Success Club benefits virtually as well! New for 2012, you can join us for book discussions, mastermind groups, author-expert interviews, and more - from wherever you call home!
Who belongs to ASPIRE?
The ASPIRE Success Club is ideal for the professional woman who wants to elevate her success, heighten her impact, and connect with other like-minded women for support, guidance, and shared expertise. Members of ASPIRE tend to hold highly the following six principles of success:
Action. We understand that taking a step in the right direction is often THE difference-maker. - Strength. We celebrate what we do well and help others recognize and leverage their strengths, too.
- Positivity. We focus on a healthy view of professional growth and provide encouragement, support, and lots of laughs.
- Integrity. We honor our commitments and follow through on our promises.
- Relationships. We know that success is more enjoyable and sustainable when we grow with others.
- Excellence. We strive for the best - to fulfill our highest career/business potential and to live life to the fullest.
We should also mention one other common denominator among our Club members: we love to read! Some of us read a book or two each week, others just a few each year, but we all recognize the value in learning - and then applying - the lessons from thought-provoking, uplifting resources. You'll never be at a loss for reading material with this group!

What do we do in ASPIRE?
Well, since we're very action-oriented and relationship-focused (see above criteria), we connect a LOT, focus on growth, and experience loads of laughter in the process! In addition, depending on which membership tier you choose, you will have the opportunities and resources to grow in your career or business, relationships, and other key priorities through a variety of ways.
A recent survey of our members also found that, after less than a year of membership, over 70% had already gained business or advanced their careers as a direct result of their participation in this group. That's a powerful side effect!
The ASPIRE Success Club has 3 membership tiers: SILVER, GOLD, and PLATINUM. Here are the specifics for each:
SILVER Membership Tier:
The SILVER Tier of the ASPIRE Success Club is specifically designed to connect professional women with each other and encourage success through the framework of powerful books. Your SILVER Membership includes:
12 In-Person Booked For Lunch Meetings. Throughout 2012 we'll study 4 carefully selected, growth-oriented books (1 per quarter), then connect in central Iowa once a month to discuss applying them in our work & lives. (Meetings held the 1st Wednesday of each month, except July & Oct which will be the 2nd Wednesday).
12 Virtual Booked For Lunch Meetings. If you can't make our in-person meetings (or even if you can, and just want more!), join us each month on our special conference telephone line for a virtual meeting.
4 In-Person Booked For The Evening events. Each quarter, we will get together to share whatever excellent books we've each read lately. Prepare to add dozens of books to your 'must read' list (we'll even compile the list FOR you)!
4 Virtual Booked For The Evening events. Not in Iowa to join our in-person events? No problem! We've set aside 4 additional evenings to connect via our bridge line. Settle in at home or the office and share your latest read with us!
12 Issues of Elevation. Watch your in-box each month for this resource-rich, members-only newsletter. We will share quotes and excerpts from our book selections, additional resources, member highlights, reading suggestions, and more.
BONUS #1! As a SILVER member, you will also receive 12 Monthly Meeting Summaries. Each summary includes discussion points, activities, and ideas shared in both the in-person and virtual meetings. You will be able to completely focus during our meetings knowing that someone else is capturing all of the crucial information for you! You can read excerpts and learn more about each book online. We encourage you to borrow the books from your library or purchase them from your favorite locally-owned bookstore.
How do I join ASPIRE?
ASPIRE membership is a one-year commitment (January - December 2012) that offers the potential to take your career or 
business from 'fine' to SHINE! You can choose from the three levels of participation - SILVER, GOLD, or PLATINUM - whichever best suits your needs.
NOTE: Your membership may be considered a professional development expense, and your employer may be willing to cover your investment for this professional development experience. Talk with your employer or tax professional for details.
